Ramires: Chelsea ‘more confident’ in title race after Man United win
Chelsea midfielder Ramires is eyeing his first Premier League title after their 3-1 win against Manchester United

Ramires has revealed that Chelsea are feeling “even more confident” in the Premier League title race after beating Manchester United.
The Blues are currently two points behind leaders Arsenal after Samuel Eto’o’s hat-trick helped the west London side secure a 3-1 victory over the defending Premier League champions.

Ramires, who has helped the Blues win the Champions League, FA Cup and Europa League, is yet to win the English top-flight crown since completing a move to Chelsea from Benfica in 2010.
“I love to be on the pitch in big games like the one against Manchester United,” Ramires told Globo Esporte.
“The derbies make you feel butterflies in your stomach, make you more motivated to win and I am happy that we have managed to play well.
“We are now even more confident after that game that we can reach our goal of winning the Premier League, that would be even more special to me as I have never won that title.”
Ramires added that he is very happy with how his career at Chelsea is progressing.
“Thank God my career has been improving since I joined Chelsea, many good things have been happening and I have got recognition for my work, which makes me very happy.
“I find the fact that I achieved that milestone as a consequence of the joy I have of playing football and of wearing Chelsea’s shirt.”
