Reading transfers: Brian McDermott eyes ‘two or three’ new signings
Reading transfers: Brian McDermott says he would like to bring in "two or three" new players in January if possible

Brian McDermott has revealed that he would like to bring in “two or three” new players in the January transfer window to boost Reading’s chances of survival.
Reading have lost six out of their last seven Premier League games and currently find themselves in 19th place in the table following Wednesday’s goalless draw with Swansea.
The Royals have been linked with a surprise move for Arsenal outcast Andrey Arshavin in recent weeks and McDermott has confirmed that he will try to bolster his squad next month.
“We are talking at the moment regarding players,” said the Reading boss.
“If we could bring in two or three players that could make a difference, it would be useful to the squad.
“We don’t generally deal in big prices. We try to get players that are available. I’d like to bring in two or three with a little bit of experience at the level.
“Having said that, if we can bring in someone from somewhere who we think has potential and can play for us, then fine and that’s what we have done with the group now.”
