Real Madrid could move to sign Tottenham midfielder – report
Real Madrid are keen on a move to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham, according to reports

Real Madrid would be keen on a move to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur if Luka Modric moves to Inter Milan, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that Real Madrid have made the Denmark playmaker their number one target to replace Modric if the Croatia international leaves the Bernabeu this month.
The same story says that Eriksen has been locked in contract talks with Tottenham Hotspur for the last two years and that he is now being targeted by Real Madrid.
According to the same article, Spurs are “desperate” to tie Eriksen down to a new contract as his current deal is set to expire in two years’ time.
The report also claims that Real Madrid are still keen on a move to try and sign Chelsea FC playmaker Eden Hazard before the close of the European transfer window at the end of this month.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur kicked off the new Premier League season with a 2-1 win at Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
The Lilywhites will be aiming to mount a serious title challenge this season after they ended up in third place and without a trophy last term.
