Real Madrid are preparing to offer Marco Asensio to Liverpool FC as the Spanish club look to try and sign Sadio Mane this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Spanish giants are keen to try and bring in Mane this summer as they look to continue their rebuild under Zinedine Zidane.
The same story says that the La Liga giants are now ready to step up their interest in signing Mane this summer as they look to bolster their attack.
It is claimed in the same report that Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp is a keen admirer of Asensio – but the Reds manager will not be happy at the prospect of losing Mane.
Mane, 27, was a key player for Liverpool FC last season and he scored 22 goals and made one assist in 36 Premier League games for the Reds.
Asensio, on the other hand, made four assists and scored one goal in 30 La Liga games for Real Madrid.
Liverpool FC are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to try and go one step further and win the Premier League title next term.
