Reporter tells Liverpool FC to expect competition for 25-year-old Serie A star
Reporter Tim Vickery believes Liverpool FC will face competition from Real Madrid for Alisson Becker

Liverpool FC have been warned to expect Real Madrid to rival their interest in Alisson Becker, Tim Vickery has claimed.
The Reds have been heavily linked with a move to sign the AS Roma goalkeeper over the past few months.
Liverpool FC haven’t had a world class goalkeeper since Pepe Reina left the Anfield outfit under Brendan Rodgers in 2013.
The 18-time English champions signed Simon Mignolet five seasons ago, before Jurgen Klopp recruited Loris Karius from Mainz in 2016.
However, Mignolet and Karius have both struggled to impress in the Liverpool FC goal to fuel transfer speculation.
Karius made two high profile mistakes in Liverpool FC’s 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
South American expert Vickery expects Real Madrid to rival Liverpool FC for Alisson’s signature.
“He is an exceptional goalkeeper. He was very inexperienced,” Vickery told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“He went to Roma. He spent the entire first season but Brazil kept faith. If Liverpool want him, join the queue. Real Madrid seem very interested as well.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table after the Reds were 4-0 winners against Brighton and Hove Albion on the final day of the season.
