Ferdinand, Neville & more: Twitter reacts as Man United & West Brom win
Rio Ferdinand and Phil Neville both tweet their thoughts after Man United and West Brom win, while Everton draw with Norwich

Manchester United moved back to the top of the Premier League courtesy of a 3-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
Elsewhere, West Bromich Albion moved in third with a 3-2 win at Sunderland, while Everton were held to a 1-1 draw with Norwich City, and Stoke City and Wigan Athletic both won.
Here is the best of the Twitter reaction from the professionals after a busy day of top-flight action.
West Brom midfielder Steven Reid (@stevenreid12) reckons the Baggies’ campaign could be the best of his career: “Two favourite seasons.. Champions Millwall and sixth place with Rovers.. Champions League with WBA could top both!! Haha!”
United defender Rio Ferdinand (@rioferdy5) is delighted to see Darren Fletcher score: “Decent result today. Bad first half from us, but improved second half. Anderson changed game when he came on, buzzing for Fletcher first goal since comeback!”
QPR owner Tony Fernandes (@tonyfernandes) is pleased with his side’s response: “Lots of heart. We really, really missed Armand Traore.”
Everton captain Phil Neville (@fizzer18) is disappointed with a 1-1 draw: “Sucker blow today last minute – but can’t understand the negativity towards the team. We are fifth in league still – come on snap out of it! Yes we do need to turn these draws into wins but there’s loads to be positive and confident about looking forward!”
The Toffees centre-half Sylvain Distin (@sylvaind15tin) feels much the same: “Gutted about the result but very disappointed to read some of those tweets … We should stick together in good times and even more so in the not so good.”
Former Aston Villa star Ian Taylor (@IanTaylor7) praises his old club for a point against Arsenal: “Good point for the boys. Worked hard and played some decent stuff. Follow up with three points versus Reading on Tuesday now. #avfc”
Stoke defender Robert Huth (@robert_huth) is happy with a 1-0 win: “Smash and grab today! Love it! Perfect day for football. Wind, rain and awesome support!! #swinglow”
Sunderland star David Meyler (@DavidMeyler) is gutted about the 3-2 loss to West Brom: “Disappointed we lost. We created so much second half as well, another game Tuesday. Let’s bounce back with a win and Sunderland too!”
Reading striker Noel Hunt (@boyhunt) is annoyed by the official’s decisions: “Gutted we didn’t take something from today’s game!! At least a point!! Yet another decision goes against us with the penalty claim! #AnyChance I’m not moaning for us well!! I’m annoyed with the fact that these decisions happen in every game every week!! Far to many #PoorLinesmans”
Former Chelsea midfielder Jody Morris (@morriskid) is impressed by Santi Cazorla: “Cazorla is more comfy then my sofa on the ball !!”
