Robbie Fowler makes bold prediction about Liverpool next season
Robbie Fowler believes Liverpool could be a surprise package in this season's Premier League

Robbie Fowler believes Liverpool are capable of springing a surprise in the Premier League this season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side finished in eighth place at the end of his first season in charge of the Merseyside outfit, losing finals to Manchester City and Sevilla in the Europa League and League Cup.
The Reds manager has already added seven new players to his squad in the summer transfer window, with Liverpool completing a £25m deal for Georginio Wijnaldum from Newcastle United on Friday.
The 18-time English champions will warm up for the new Premier League season with games against Chelsea and AC Milan in the International Champions Cup over the next eight days in California.
And Fowler, who is acting as an ambassador for the Reds during their pre-season tour of the sunshine state, is confident Liverpool can enjoy a successful campaign under Klopp.
“It gets tougher every year,” Fowler told The Sport Review.
“Clubs are spending money, bringing in new players and new managers. As a club, you always have aims and you want finish up higher the table.
“If Liverpool go out with the right mentality, get a few good early wins and get the team gelling, we can surprise people this year.”
Klopp was appointed as Brendan Rodgers’s successor in October after a below-par start to the 2015/16 Premier League campaign.
