Robin van Persie ‘very happy’ with decision to swap Arsenal for Man United
Robin van Persie insists he is "very happy" with his decision to swap Arsenal for Manchester United in the summer

Robin van Persie says he is “very happy” with his decision to swap Arsenal for Manchester United in the summer.
The Dutch striker sealed a £24m move to Old Trafford after eight seasons in north London, citing his desire to win silverware as the main factor behind his choice.
The Red Devils are three points clear at the top of the Premier League table heading into Sunday’s Manchester derby at Eastlands, with Arsenal languishing in 10th place and 15 points behind United.
And the 29-year-old Holland international, who has already netted 13 goals in 19 outings for Manchester United, insists he is happy with his decision to move.
“I’m very happy with my decision,” Van Persie told MUTV. “I’m coming with a big smile to work every day. It’s not even work, it’s my hobby. I love it, I love football.
“Everyone has been so nice to me. I’m having the time of my life here so I don’t regret that.
“I know how it is, obviously. In the past I had the north London derby against Spurs and other derbies in London, but this is two Manchester teams in one city, one is called United and the other is called City and that’s it.
“They are the only teams, so it is the only derby, and the biggest derby.”
