Chelsea to confirm signing of 24-year-old in £34m deal – report
Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Antonio Rudiger from Roma, according to reports

Antonio Rudiger is set to complete a medical and finalise his £34m transfer to Chelsea, according to reports in the British media.
The Times is reporting that the Roma defender is set to conclude the final stages of his move to Stamford Bridge and could be unveiled as a Blues player this week.
The Germany defender has been regularly touted as a target for the Premier League champions in recent days and it would seem that a deal is now close to being completed.
The 24-year-old was a regular fixture in the Roma team last season, and made two assists in 26 Serie A games for the Italian side.
Antonio Conte is on the lookout for defensive reinforcements this summer after the Blues lost both Nathan Ake and John Terry following the end of the season.
Chelsea, who won the title in Conte’s first campaign in charge in west London, are believed to be keen to bolster their squad in a number of areas as they prepare for a return to the Champions League next season.
