Ajax winger Ryan Babel says he is "very proud" of Liverpool's current form and tips a title challenge this season

Ryan Babel says he is “very proud” to see his former club Liverpool challenging for the Premier League title.
The Reds are currently second in the Premier League table and two points behind leaders Arsenal after a 5-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
Very proud to see that Liverpool find themselves back after a few difficult years

Babel scored 22 goals in 146 appearances for the Merseyside outfit during four mixed seasons at Anfield after moving to Liverpool in a £14m deal from Ajax in 2007.
And the 26-year-old, who is currently back at the Amsterdam club, believes the Reds can challenge for the title if they maintain their form during December and January.
“Whenever I’m not playing myself I try to catch a game! Very proud to see that Liverpool find themselves back after a few difficult years,” Babel posted on Twitter.
“Spurs away has always been difficult in my time at LFC, so it was definitely a big result!
“If LFC maintain the form they currently have, they definitely have a big chance! December/January are the most difficult months… See how they do!”
