Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Alex Sandro but have yet to settle on a fee with Juventus for full-back, according to journalist Tancredi Palmeri.

The Blues have been linked with a bid to sign the 26-year-old full-back in recent days as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his options in that position.

Chelsea were reported to have had a bid for Sandro rejected by Juventus and it remains to be seen whether the west London side will increase their offer for the Brazilian.

However, Italian journalist Palmeri has now revealed that the Blues have agreed terms with Sandro – and the only point holding up a deal is a transfer fee with Juventus.

Asked by one Twitter user if he thinks Sandro will move to Chelsea, Palmeri replied: “It’s complicated.

“Alex Sandro has found agreement on personal terms with Chelsea, but Juventus have no intention to sell.”

Chelsea have been linked with a host of players already this summer but the Blues have not yet confirmed the signing of any new stars.

The Blues will be keen to bolster their squad as they gear up for a return to the Champions League next season.
