Gareth Barry’s injury-time winner helped keep Manchester City’s Premier League title bid on track after the Citizens secured three points against Reading.
Elsewhere, Everton and Liverpool were both winners against London opposition, while Newcastle United and Sunderland snatched important victories against fellow strugglers.
