The climax of the Serie A season in Italy saw Bologna manage to beat the drop at Torino’s expense, and an astonishing total of 42 goals scored in the ten games.

An eight-goal thriller between Udinese and Cagliari helped up the total number of Serie A goals scored on the day to a staggering 42. Udinese ran out 6-2 winners.
Elsewhere, Kaka and Pato were on target for AC Milan in a 2-0 win at Fiorentina that sees Milan secure the final automatic Champions League qualification spot in third place.
Juventus, who finished second, also won 2-0 with a brace from Iaquinta against Lazio. Napoli beat Chievo 3-0 and Palermo drew 2-2 with Sampdoria. Finally, Genoa beat Lecce 4-1 and Reggina and Siena drew 1-1.
