John Barnes states his prediction for Sheffield United v Liverpool FC
John Barnes looks ahead to Liverpool FC's trip to Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon

John Barnes is tipping Liverpool FC to beat Sheffield United and maintain their fine start to the new season on Saturday lunchtime.
The Reds head into the game looking to maintain their brilliant start to the new campaign and make it seven wins on the spin in the Premier League.
Liverpool FC are currently five points clear at the top of the Premier League table as they bid to try and go one step further and win the Premier League title this season.
Former Reds winger Barnes is expecting the game to be a physical one, but he is tipping the Reds to ultimately claim all three points.
Speaking on behalf of bookmaker comparison site BonusCodeBets.co.uk, Barnes said: “I expect them to win but then again I didn’t expect Sheffield United to go to Everton and win. You know what football’s like.
“They are an organised and physical team. But look at Burnley, for example, who are a very physical side. If teams feel they can outmuscle Liverpool, they’re wrong.
“What’s been shown at the so-called ‘bigger’ teams is that if you don’t match the ‘smaller’ teams in terms of effort and commitment, then you will come a cropper, which has happened in the past.
“But there’s no team who will be more committed or more physical than Liverpool. So if teams feel that is what’s necessary to beat Liverpool, then they’re wrong.
“I expect it to be a physical and aggressive game and Liverpool to win – but anything can happen.”
Liverpool FC booked their place in the fourth round of the League Cup on Wednesday night thanks to a 2-0 win at MK Dons.
The Reds will host Arsenal at Anfield in the fourth round at the end of October.
