Stats highlight why Chelsea’s Eden Hazard deserves Premier League award
Stats showcase Eden Hazard's scintillating form for Chelsea in their opening three Premier League games

Eden Hazard has experienced a Chelsea renaissance under new manager Antonio Conte in the Premier League this season.
The Belgium international didn’t score a top-flight goal until April last term but Hazard has already found the net twice in three Premier League games in the current campaign.
Fantasy Football game Oulala have examined Hazard’s stats which put the forward the Chelsea star’s compelling case to win the Premier League player of the month award for August ahead of Manchester United’s Antonio Valencia, Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling and Hull City’s Curtis Davies.
The 25-year-old ranks top of the Premier League in terms of take-ons, completing 17 successful dribbles as the Blues star continues to run his opponents ragged during this early-season purple patch.
Unsurprisingly given his style of play, Hazard is the league’s most-fouled player in the opening three top-flight games.
Encouragingly for Conte, Hazard’s shot accuracy of 58 per cent is also the best in the Premier League this term as the former Lille man looks to eclipse his 14 goals in the club’s title-winning campaign in 2014/15.
Only City forward Sergio Aguero and United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic have scored more goals than Hazard’s tally of two, with Hazard registering the third-most shots in the Premier League so far – 14.

The Chelsea man has also made six key passes and 152 successful passes. The key for Hazard will be consistency, though.
The former Lille man will be hoping to boost his figures when Conte’s side make the trip to Swansea City on Sunday afternoon.
