Steven Gerrard: This Tottenham Hotspur star will become top player
Steven Gerrard believes Tottenham Hotspur starlet Dele Alli looks the real deal
Steven Gerrard believes Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli will develop into a top-class player.
The newly-capped England midfielder moved to the north London side in a £5m deal from League One side MK Dons in the summer transfer window.
He is certainly a very exciting player. He has all the tools to become a top player domestically and in Europe as well

Alli has quickly emerged as one of the most-exciting English talents in the Premier League after winning a spot in Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team.
The 19-year-old made his England debut in October, and Alli scored his first Three Lions goal in a 2-0 victory over France at Wembley earlier this month.
And Gerrard believes Alli has already got more experience under his belt than the Liverpool legend had at the start of his Anfield career in the late 1990s.
“He seems to be a little bit more ahead of me in terms of England games and appearances at Spurs,” Gerrard told BT Sport.
“He’s obviously got more experience than me because he came through at MK Dons which has helped him progress and have the impact at Tottenham.
“He is certainly a very exciting player. He has all the tools to become a top player domestically and in Europe as well.”
The 19-year-old has scored two goals and has made one assist in 11 Premier League games in his first campaign in the English top-flight.
