Stoke City 0 Cardiff City 0: Mark Hughes admits he is disappointed by his side's stalemate with the Bluebirds
Mark Hughes admitted he was disappointed that Stoke City failed to pick up three points after the Potters were held to a goalless draw by Cardiff City.
The Bluebirds had an early chance when Jordon Mutch was denied by Asmir Bergovic, while at the other end, Stoke could only muster two shots on David Marshall’s goal.

And Hughes, who replaced Tony Pulis at the Britannia Stadium in the summer, felt his side were unlucky not to win after controlling the Wednesday night clash.
“I thought we did well up to a point – at the top end which is a problem for us. But in terms of controlling the game I thought we did well we were the only team likely to win the game,” Hughes told BBC Sport.
“In terms of performance I thought we stuck at it without creating too many clear cut chances.
“We’re disappointed not to win the game, I thought our performance merited that. I don’t recall too many chances for them but I thought we stuck at it.
“We have got to keep our home form nice and solid, we have been decent enough but we need to take maximum points.”
