The Belgium international played in a key role in helping the west London side win their second title in three seasons.
Courtois won the Premier League’s golden glove after Chelsea finished with the second-best defensive record in the Premier League.
The towering shot stopper was unable to add a FA Cup winner’s medal to his collection after Arsenal were 2-1 winners against Chelsea at Wembley.
The Belgian goalkeeper has been linked with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid in recent months as Zinedine Zidane looks to sign a replacement for South American Keylor Navas.
Speaking to Sky Sports about his future at the defending Premier League champions, Chelsea goalkeeper Courtois issued a positive statement to the Blues fans.
“Contract talks haven’t opened but I am happy at Chelsea. I hope they reward me with a good contract, then there will be no doubt I will sign it.”
Chelsea won the Premier League title with two games to spare.
The defending champions secured their return to the Champions League thanks to winning the Premier League title.
