Thierry Henry comments on Man United’s move for Paul Pogba
Thierry Henry discusses Paul Pogba's imminent transfer to Manchester United from Juventus

Thierry Henry believes that Jose Mourinho should deploy Paul Pogba in a more advanced position for Manchester United to get the best out of the midfielder.
The France international midfielder arrived at United’s training ground on Monday to undergo his medical with the Red Devils ahead of his proposed big-money transfer from Juventus.
Pogba, 23, is set to rejoin United after initially leaving the Red Devils to sign for Juventus back in the summer of 2012.
Henry is a big fan of the midfielder and admits that he is excited to see him ply his trade in England, although he feels that Pogba would be suited to a more advanced role at Old Trafford.
Speaking on Sky Sports News HQ on Monday morning, former Arsenal captain Henry said: “The way I would like to see him play is in a more advanced position.
“I think in the Euros he played for France in a deeper role. As long as the ball is in front of him he can deal with it but as soon you have runs behind him he tends to forget to defend.
“When he plays in a higher position he can be more efficient – he has tonnes of skills, he can score goals.
“I think he will help Manchester United in that position. I don’t think it’s a good thing if they play him as only a midfielder.
“I’m very excited to see him play in the Premier League.”
Manchester United, who won the Community Shield on Sunday, have now turned their attentions towards their preparations for their Premier League opener against Bournemouth on Sunday.
