Thierry Henry sends message to Arsenal fans about Alexandre Lacazette
The Arsenal legend is a big fan of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette as he continues to be linked with the Gunners

Thierry Henry has described Alexandre Lacazette as an “extraordinary” player amid talk of the striker moving to Arsenal.
The 26-year-old has established himself as one of the leading strikers in Europe over the past 36 months thanks to his prolific return in a Lyon shirt.
Lacazette has scored a staggering 100 goals in 203 appearances in Ligue 1 but has failed to get his hands on the title due to the dominance of Paris Saint-Germain and now AS Monaco.
The France international’s goal-scoring feats aren’t restricted to the French top flight having netted 127 times in 274 appearances across all competitions since breaking into the Lyon team.
Arsene Wenger is reported to be a big admirer of the 26-year-old centre-forward as the Arsenal manager looks to recruit some new attacking talent in the summer transfer window.
Henry is still Arsenal’s record goal-scorer after the retired World Cup winner netted 226 goals in 369 appearances for the north London side during an eight-season stay.
Former Arsenal striker Henry has talked up Lacazette’s qualities as the Arsenal striker continues to be linked with a summer move to The Emirates.
“For me, what Lacazette is doing is extraordinary,” Henry told beIN Sports, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
“He has become aware of his qualities and he is especially aware that he cannot be average. Congratulations to him, really.”
