Tomas Rosicky says Arsenal's recent good form is partly down to the "fun" understanding between the Gunners' midfielders

Tomas Rosicky believes Arsenal’s recent good form is partly down to an enjoyable understanding between the Gunners’ midfielders.

Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey both scored as Arsenal beat Liverpool 2-0 and moved five points clear at the top of the Premier League table on Saturday.

And Rosicky admits it is a pleasure to line up alongside the likes of Cazorla and club-record signing Mesut Ozil.

“It’s fun to play with players like Ozil and Cazorla,” Rosicky told Arsenal Player.

“They can pass the ball so quickly and creatively. I think you can see we have fun on the pitch – if you have that it’s great.”

Despite Arsenal’s positive position at the top of the Premier League table, Rosicky has warned his team-mates not to get carried away ahead of their trip to Manchester United on Sunday.

“We needed this result to react positively after the negative result [against Chelsea],” he continued. “It was a great game, an intense game from both sides and obviously we are happy to win so it’s very pleasant.

“It’s great to be [five points clear], no doubt about it, but for me it’s too soon, the season is very long.

“Of course we would like to stay there on top of the league, it’s a good feeling to be there but it’s too soon, it doesn’t mean a lot at this time.

“But it’s not a bad feeling I have to admit and I would like to stay there.”
