Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere hails Danny Welbeck as a "great player" after striker sealed £16m move to Gunners

Jack Wilshere says Arsenal signing Danny Welbeck is a top player and the England striker is joining a great club.
The 23-year-old has signed a long-term deal with the north London club after completing a £16m switch to the Gunners from Manchester United on Monday.
Welbeck, who scored nine goals in 25 Premier League games last season, was facing an increasingly difficult battle for a first-team spot after Radamel Falcao’s arrival at Old Trafford.
The new Gunners signing is currently on international duty with his new Arsenal team-mate Wilshere, and the Gunners midfielder welcomed the striker to The Emirates.
“Big welcome to my boy Welbz….great player for a great club! Another English lad! #Gooner,” Wilshere posted on Instagram.
Earlier on Monday, Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta claimed that Welbeck would suit the Gunenrs’s style of player after his big-money move.
