Manchester United are set to conclude the signing of Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid next week, say reports in Spain
Alvaro Morata will travel to England to sign for Manchester United on Monday after the Red Devils agreed a €73m (£64.1m) deal with Real Madrid for the striker, according to reports in Spain.
Onda Cero is claiming that Manchester United are set to make the Spain international their first summer signing and will offer him a five-year deal. The same report is quoted in both Metro and the Sun.
The 24-year-old striker, it is claimed, will travel to England on Monday after Spain play their World Cup qualifier against Macedonia on Sunday night.
Morata has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent days as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season.
And it appears that Mourinho is set to land one of his top targets of the summer, if the latest reports in Spain are to be believed.
Manchester United are preparing for a return to the Champions League next season after Mourinho led the Red Devils to Europa League glory in his first campaign at the club.
