Tottenham 1 Stoke 2: Pochettino frustrated with ‘very bad loss’
Mauricio Pochettino says his Tottenham side were too rash
Mauricio Pochettino spoke of his disappointment and frustration after 10-man Tottenham Hotspur lost to Stoke City.
Mark Hughes’ summer signing Bojan Krkic broke the deadlock in the sixth minute at White Hart Lane and Jonathan Walters doubled the away side’s lead 12 minutes before half-time.
We need to look forward, work hard, change and find the solution. That is my job

Nacer Chadli halved the deficit in the 77th minute before Kyle Naughton was sent off, and Pochettino’s side failed to pull level much to their manager’s frustration.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Pochettino said: “It was disappointing and frustrating. A very bad result.
“It is a shame because we started the game great and had the chance with Harry Kane but once we conceded the first goal it all changed, we took rash decisions and looked uncomfortable on the ball and made a lot of mistakes.
“We were more comfortable in the second half but then 2-0 down it is difficult. We scored but in the end it was a very disappointing result and in the next few days we will try to find a solution and change our mentality.
“Stoke worked hard. Always it is different. When you are up in a game your motivation is full and maybe we are very disappointed and frustrated and our players feel that frustration. We need to look forward, work hard, change and find the solution. That is my job.”
