Tottenham 1 West Brom 1: Tim Sherwood promises that Spurs will improve after his side were held to a draw at White Hart Lane
Tim Sherwood paid credit to West Bromwich Albion after the Baggies held Spurs to a draw at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham took a 36th-minute lead courtesy of Christian Eriksen’s brilliant free-kick but the Dane’s joy was short-lived after he played a role in the visitors’ equaliser.
We are asking them to play a slightly different manner and hopefully they are going to get better and better at it

Eriksen, who has only recently returned to full fitness following an ankle injury, conceded a free-kick which led to Jonas Olsson’s close-range finish.
Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker had the best chance of the second half, and new manager Sherwood admitted he didn’t enjoy the clash as much as their win at Southampton last weekend.
“I only enjoy it when we win, it was far more enjoyable in my first game against Southampton than it is today,” Sherwood told BBC Sport.
“We didn’t get the rub of the green in the second half. We had a lot of possession, kept delivering balls into their box but they defended well and we give them credit for that.
“I’m a new voice and we are asking them to play a slightly different manner and hopefully they are going to get better and better at it.”
