Tottenham 2 Crystal Palace 0: Eriksen credits ‘angry’ Sherwood for win
Tottenham 2 Crystal Palace 0: Christian Eriksen reveals TIm Sherwood was furious with his Spurs side at half-time
Christian Eriksen lifted the lid on Tim Sherwood’s angry half-time team talk after Tottenham Hotspur’s superb second-half performance was good enough to beat Crystal Palace.
The Eagles could have taken a surprise lead at White Hart Lane but Jason Puncheon produced a contender for worst penalty of the Premier League era when the forward blazed his effort high and wide.

The visitors were made to punish for wasting early chances when Denmark international Eriksen continued his good form with a 50th-minute strike to finally break the deadlock in north London.
And Spurs substitute Jermain Defoe, who agreed to join Toronto on 28 February earlier this week, sealed a valuable three points in the race for a top-four finish with a trademark strike.
“The manager was really angry at half-time and that was probably necessary,” Eriksen told BBC Sport.
“I like playing and doing my thing for the team. The first half was not good and I’m happy to score a goal.
“Nabil Bentaleb also showed what a big talent he is today.”
