Gary Neville reacts to Harry Kane’s display in Tottenham’s 4-1 win over Liverpool
The Man United legend heaps praise on Harry Kane for his double in Tottenham's 4-1 win over Liverpool at Wembley on Sunday

Gary Neville highlighted Harry Kane’s relentless progress at Tottenham Hotspur after the striker scored twice in Sunday’s 4-1 win over Liverpool at Wembley.
The England international failed to get on the score sheet at The Bernabeu mid-week after Keylor Navas’ world-class save denied Kane from close range in a 1-1 draw between Real Madrid and Tottenham.
Kane scored 13 goals in his last 10 games for club and country ahead of the visit of Liverpool at Wembley, although the Spurs forward failed to get on the score sheet in his last two outings.
But the 24-year-old made light work of a poor Liverpool defence with the opener in the first half after he managed to evade two defenders and the goalkeeper to slot home.
Kane teed up Son Heung-min with a brilliant pass to help Tottenham to extend their lead to 2-0 before the England international polished off a 4-1 victory following goals from Dele Alli and Mohamed Salah.
Former Manchester United defender Neville lavished praise on Kane for another dominant performance in the Premier League.
“He is getting better and better. He is putting fear into opponents,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“Let’s hope for England’s sake he can continue this form into next summer.”
Kane has scored eight goals in eight games in the Premier League to ease past his Manchester United rival Romelu Lukaku in the goal-scoring charts.
