Cesc Fabregas and Piers Morgan took to social media after Tottenham booked their place in the Champions League final

Cesc Fabregas has taken to social media to pay credit to Tottenham Hotspur after they beat Ajax 3-2 on Wednesday night to book their place in the Champions League final in dramatic circumstances.
Spurs headed into the game trailing the Dutch side 1-0 after the first leg in north London last week.
The Lilywhites faced even more of an uphill task after goals from Matthijs de Ligt and Hakim Ziyech put the home side 2-0 up on the night before half-time.
However, Lucas Moura ended up being the star of the show, as he netted three times in the second half to secure Tottenham’s place in the final against Liverpool FC next month.
Moura’s third goal came with virtually the last kick of the game, and the final whistle prompted scenes of wild celebration amongst Tottenham staff and players.
Former Arsenal and Chelsea FC midfielder Fabregas reluctantly took to Twitter after the final whistle to pay credit to Tottenham.
Fabregas wrote on Twitter: “Credit where it’s due. What a come back from Spurs. What a coach Pochettino is.”
Meanwhile, celebrity Arsenal fan and former Daily Mirror editor Morgan added on Twitter: “Oh FFS. 🙈🙈🙈.”
Morgan then added in a separate tweet: “Just rang my dad, a lifelong Spurs fan, to congratulate him. Hardest phone call of my life.”
And finally, former Arsenal star Lee Dixon added a short response of his own to the result: “I’m emigrating 🙈.”
Tottenham will take on Liverpool FC in the Champions League final in Madrid on Saturday 1 June.
