Michael Owen is backing Harry Kane to help Tottenham Hotspur ease to a home win against Bournemouth at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.

Spurs have won three of their last four Premier League games to get their title bid back on track thanks in part to the goals of England international Harry Kane.

Tottenham scored 10 goals in victories over Everton, West Ham United and Huddersfield Town as Kane scored six goals in the three games to help the north London side to secure nine points.

For all the praise for Spurs and Kane in recent weeks, Tottenham are still waiting to secure their first Premier League win of the season at Wembley.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side lost 2-1 to Chelsea before stalemates with Burnley and Swansea City at the home of English football.

Kane, meanwhile, has scored all six of his Premier League goals on the road this term, although the England striker scored twice in a 3-1 win against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League at Wembley.

Former Liverpool striker Owen believes Kane will help Tottenham to end their miserable run at Wembley when Bournemouth make the trip to north London on Saturday evening.

“Spurs have yet to win at home in the league so far this season but they must surely break their Wembley duck sooner rather than later,” Owen told BetVictor.

“Incredibly, Harry Kane’s last 13 Premier League goals have all come away from home, but he and Spurs are too good to maintain those unenviable records for long.”

Spurs finished in second place in the Premier League table last term.
