Tottenham face Inter test as Man United draw Rangers

Tottenham will play current title holders Inter Milan as Manchester United were drawn with Rangers in the Champions League group stage draw in Monaco on Thursday.
Harry Redknapp’s side will kick off their European campaign with a trip to Werder Bremen before hosting FC Twente on Matchday two in Group A. Spurs will then travel to the San Siro on 20 October to face Rafael Benitez’s new team before the return leg against the treble-winners at White Hart Lane on 2 November.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s Red Devils will play the Scottish champions at Old Trafford on 14 September amongst ties with Valencia and Turkish club Bursaspor in Group C.
Arsenal will see a swift reunion with former striker Eduardo when they host his new club Shakhtar Donetsk on 19 October. SC Braga and Partizan Belgrade complete the line-up facing the Gunners in Group H.
This year’s ‘group of death’ is surely Group G, where Real Madrid, AC Milan, Ajax and Auxerre will be fight it out for the two qualification spots for the first knock-out round.
