Tottenham Hotspur are interested in a deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Julian Brandt this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Lilywhites are keen on a move to bring the 23-year-old German international to the north London club this summer.
The same report says that Spurs are weighing up a move for Brandt as a potential replacement for Christian Eriksen, who has been linked with a move to La Liga this summer.
According to the same report, Eriksen could choose to move clubs this summer, as his current deal at the north London side is set to expire at the end of next season.
The same story says that Real Madrid and FC Barcelona could be potential destinations for Eriksen should he indeed leave.
Brandt has been in solid form for Bayer Leverkusen this season, scoring six goals and making 11 assists in 32 Bundesliga games for the German club.
Meanwhile, Tottenham’s focus will be on preparing for their crunch Champions League final showdown against Liverpool FC at the end of the season.
The Lilywhites will take on the Reds in the final in Madrid on 1 June as they look to try and win the trophy for the first time.
