Alan Smith is tipping Tottenham Hotspur to finish in fourth place in the Premier League table this season.
The Lilywhites are still looking to win their first trophy under Mauricio Pochettino after they finished third and reached the FA Cup semi-finals last term.
Tottenham are the only club in the Premier League not to have signed any new players this summer as they look to try and challenge for the title once again.
The north London side kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 2-1 win over Newcastle United in the top flight last weekend.
And Arsenal legend Smith is backing the Lilywhites to secure a top-four finish this season and a place in the Champions League once again.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Smith said: “I know there is a lot of negative talk about Spurs given their lack of transfer activity, but they have a quality squad whatever people say and they will get a buzz from moving into their new home.
“So I think they will have another good season under a quality coach.”
Tottenham will return to Premier League action this weekend when they host Fulham at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.
The north London side will be aiming to lift their first trophy under Pochettino this season and deliver on the promise they have shown in recent campaigns.
They reached the FA Cup semi-finals last term but ended up losing to Manchester United at Wembley.
