Michael Owen is backing Tottenham Hotspur to win to nil against Huddersfield Town at Wembley on Sunday.

Spurs were 1-0 winners against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last weekend thanks to Harry Kane’s 23rd goal of the Premier League campaign.

Tottenham hoisted themselves into fourth place in the top flight following the slender win the London derby before Chelsea FC lost 2-1 to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have the chance to open up a five-point gap over fifth-placed Chelsea FC if Spurs beat Huddersfield before the Blues take on leaders Manchester City.

Tottenham are looking to secure a Champions League spot for the third successive seasons under the former Argentina international.

Huddersfield have beaten Bournemouth and West Brom in their last two Premier League games to move three points clear of the relegation zone.

However, former Liverpool FC striker Owen is backing Tottenham to ease to a win without conceding a goal against Huddersfield at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.

“Huddersfield have fond memories of Wembley given they are unbeaten in their last four visits including two penalty shoot-out successes following goalless draws,” Owen told BetVictor.

“They are likely to find this current Spurs side a different proposition, however, given the North London outfit have lost just one of their 33 home PL games since the start of last season.

“Spurs are unbeaten in their last ten league games and Harry Kane will be a short price to score his 25th PL goal of the season and thus join Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry as only the third player in the history of the PL to score 25 or more goals in three successive seasons.”

Tottenham finished in second place in the Premier League table last term after Spurs finished seven points behind defending champions Chelsea FC.

Spurs will take on Swansea City in the FA Cup quarter-final after Tottenham were 6-1 winners against Rochdale in their fifth-round replay.
