Robbie Fowler makes title claim about Tottenham ahead of Liverpool clash
The Liverpool legend is tipping Tottenham Hotspur to challenge Manchester City and Manchester United for the title

Robbie Fowler believes Tottenham Hotspur do have the quality to challenge for the Premier League title this season ahead of Sunday’s clash against Liverpool.
The north London side have been making steady progress under Mauricio Pochettino over the past four seasons.
Spurs finished in third place in the Premier League table in 2015-16 after challenging eventual champions Leicester City throughout most of the campaign.
Tottenham were runners-up last term after finishing seven points behind title holders Chelsea despite playing some of the league’s best football.
Pochettino’s side are currently in third place in the Premier League table ahead of the visit of top-four rivals Liverpool at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
Former Liverpool striker Fowler is adamant that Spurs are genuine title contenders this season despite the power and strength of the two Manchester clubs.
“They’ve got a chance! I think the manager is very good, he knows what he wants and he’s got players wanting to play for him playing the right way and he’s got them so confident believing they can beat anyone,” Fowler told Tag Heuer.
“It’s going to be tough for them to win it because there are other strong teams but I think they’ll certainly be top four.”
Pochettino is bidding to become the first manager to win the Premier League title in charge of Tottenham.
Robbie Fowler was speaking on behalf of TAG Heuer to promote the TAG Heuer Premier League Pressure Test. TAG Heuer is the Official Timekeeping Partner of the Premier League.
