Tottenham look like a bunch of strangers, says Harry Redknapp
Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp claims Tottenham Hotspur looked like a "bunch of strangers" at The Etihad

Harry Redknapp believes Tottenham Hotspur looked like “a bunch of strangers” during their 6-0 defeat by Manchester City on Sunday.
Spurs, who spent £103m on new signings during the summer, were blown apart by the Citizens as Sergio Aguero and Jesus Navas both scored braces, whilst Alvaro Negredo also netted and Sandro put the ball past his own goalkeeper.
Redknapp guided Tottenham into the Champions League for the first time before being sacked and replaced by Andre Villas-Boas in 2012, and the current Queens Park Rangers boss reckons Spurs are missing Gareth Bale.
“For the first time, Tottenham did look like a bunch of strangers on Sunday,” Redknapp told talkSPORT. “They have got lots of attacking players. They have almost become overloaded with the same type of player.
“In the past, when they had Gareth Bale, he was such a fantastic talent that he would pull them out of trouble.
“There were lots of games where there were two minutes to go and suddenly a bit of magic from Gareth Bale and three points were in the bag. Well, they have lost that magic now.
“He was special. It has been difficult to replace him and that is a big problem for them.”
