Jermaine Jenas names the one player he’d love Tottenham to sign this summer
Jermaine Jenas says he would love to see Tottenham sign Joshua King from Bournemouth this summer

Jermaine Jenas has admitted that he would love to see Tottenham sign Joshua King from Bournemouth this summer.
There has been much talk about Tottenham’s lack of transfer business so far this summer, with the Lilywhites yet to confirm the signing of any new players.
Tottenham will be aiming to compete on four fronts this season as they look to challenge for the Premier League while also remaining competitive in the Champions League.
Spurs began their campaign with comfortable 2-0 victory over Newcastle United on Sunday as Mauricio Pochettino’s men got off to a winning start.
However, there have been concerns that Harry Kane may need some support up front during the course of the season.
And BT Sport pundit Jenas believes that Bournemouth forward King would be the perfect signing for the north London club.
Asked who he would sign for Tottenham this summer, Jenas told The Sport Review in an exclusive interview: “I like Josh King, I really do.
“He had a really good spell at Bournemouth towards the end of last year. I think he’s a player they probably could get, especially now Jermaine Defoe has gone to Bournemouth. He [King] fits the bill perfectly.
“Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, he’s in that ilk now with Luis Suarez and so on.
“I think that having somebody to back him up like Josh King, who knows what it’s like to come off the bench because he does it at Bournemouth, and who has genuine quality… he would be a player who I personally would like to see go to Spurs.”
Tottenham are now preparing for their first game of the season at Wembley, as they get ready to welcome London rivals Chelsea to the national stadium on Sunday afternoon.
