Gary Neville: Why it’s a shame Tottenham haven’t won the title
The Man United legend admits he wants to see Tottenham Hotspur win the Premier League title

Gary Neville has admitted that it would be a shame if Tottenham Hotspur don’t win the Premier League title.
Spurs were 4-0 winners against Huddersfield Town in their last Premier League game to hoist themselves up to third place in the table.
Tottenham have arguably the best striker in the Premier League in their ranks after Harry Kane finished with 29 goals in 31 games last term.
Kane scored 14 times in his last nine games for club and country to help Spurs get their title challenge back on track.
Tottenham consistently have one of the best defences in the Premier League thanks to Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.
Spurs have also got talented playmakers in the shape of Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen to create plenty of chances for Kane.
Tottenham finished in third place in the table in 2015-16 after challenging Leicester City throughout most of the second half of the campaign.
The north London side ended up seven points behind champions Chelsea last season after finishing in runners-up spot for the first time in the Premier League era.
Former Manchester United defender Neville admitted he is desperate to see Tottenham polish off their progress with a title triumph.
“It’s a shame they haven’t won the league,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“They’re the team that have amassed the most points in the last two seasons. They’ve fallen short. It would be a shame if this team doesn’t win a league because they’re brilliant.”
