Tottenham to beat Arsenal to signing of 20-year-old Brazilian – report
Tottenham are now leading the race to sign Malcom from Bordeaux, according to reports

Tottenham have emerged as the new favourites to beat Arsenal to the signature of Bordeaux attacker Malcom, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Spurs are now leading the race to bring the 20-year-old to the Premier League in a deal worth around £35.3m.
The same report says that both Arsenal and Manchester United were interested in signing Malcom from the French club this month, but it now appears that Spurs is his most likely destination.
The story also claims that Malcom’s representatives met with Tottenham official in London last week to discuss the potential move.
However, the article also says that any deal would see Malcom stay at Bordeaux until the end of the season and then sign for Spurs in the summer.
It is also underlined in the same article that no deal between the two clubs has yet been reached, however.
Malcom has been in good form for the French side so far this season and has scored seven goals and made five assists in 20 Ligue 1 games for the club.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are currently preparing for their trip to Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon as they look to keep their top-four bid on track.
