Juventus are interested in a potential double swoop for Tottenham Hotspur pair Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen, according to a report in England.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the Italian giants are interested in a potential swoop to sign the Spurs duo on free transfers in the 2020 summer transfer window.

The same article states that Juventus have built a reputation for targeting free agents over the past couple of seasons, which makes Alderweireld and Eriksen prime targets.

According to the same story, the Serie A title holders believe that Alderweireld and Eriksen would be big assets to their team given their experience in the Premier League.

The report goes on to state that Juventus could face competition from their Serie A rivals Inter Milan for Alderweireld’s signature.

Juventus signed Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer from Arsenal in the summer after the Wales international opted to call time on his spell in north London.

Tottenham managed to keep hold of Eriksen beyond Europe’s summer transfer window despite the Denmark international being linked with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Spurs drew 2-2 with Arsenal in the north London derby last weekend to collect five points from their opening four games in the Premier League.

Tottenham lost 2-0 to Liverpool FC in the Champions League final last term.
