Paul Ince is backing Alexandre Lacazette to get on the score sheet for Arsenal in a narrow win at Watford on Saturday evening.

The Gunners signed the France international in a £52m deal from Ligue 1 side Lyon in the summer transfer window to bolster their attacking options.

The north London side have managed to win three of their opening seven games in the Premier League in the 2017-18 season so far.

Lacazette has scored two goals in Arsenal’s victories over Bournemouth and West Bromwich Albion to hit the ground running in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old’s next challenge is to find the net on the road in the Premier League and help Arsenal secure a first away win of the campaign.

Former Manchester United midfielder Ince is backing Lacazette to get on the score sheet in Arsenal’s clash against Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.

“I think Alexandre Lacazette will net one here, after bagging in the West Brom game before the break,” Ince told the Daily Express.

“Watford are doing okay, though, and I don’t necessarily think it will be a drubbing from the Arsenal team.”

Lacazette scored 100 goals in 201 appearances in Ligue 1 during his seven-year career at Lyon.

Arsenal are in fifth place in the Premier League table and seven points behind current leaders Manchester City.

The Gunners finished outside the Champions League places last term to prompt Wenger to sign Lacazette in a club-record deal.
