Harry Redknapp says he is confident Chelsea FC will secure a resounding win against Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday evening.

The Blues suffered a setback in the Carabao Cup fourth round on Wednesday night following a 2-1 loss to bitter rivals Manchester United.

England international Marcus Rashford scored twice to end Chelsea FC’s seven-game winning run in all competitions in west London.

Chelsea FC have won their last four Premier League games to secure fourth spot in the table ahead of their short trip to Watford.

Lampard’s men have scored as many goals as Premier League leaders Liverpool FC to highlight the firepower up front in the Blues team.

Chelsea FC will take on a Watford side that are still winless in the Premier League this season.

The Hornets have only managed to collect five points from their opening 10 top-flight fixtures.

Former Spurs boss Redknapp is confident that Chelsea FC will secure an emphatic win against the Premier League’s basement club at Vicarage Road on Saturday evening.

“Chelsea were beaten at home in the cup by Manchester United on Wednesday, thus ending a good spell of form for the Pensioners,” Redknapp told BetVictor.

“However, only a majestic free-kick from Marcus Rashford spilt the teams and the Blues can bounce back with victory at bottom club Watford.

“The Hornets have still to taste victory in the top flight this term and will be mindful of Chelsea’s excellent away record and ability to score big.

“An eye-catching sixteen goals in their last four away Premier League matches has seen them enter the top four and it’s hard to see how Watford can stop this impressive free-scoring outfit from adding to that total.

“Many Chelsea regulars were rested Wednesday and with Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham ready to start again I envisage a long afternoon for the hosts.”

Chelsea FC haven’t lost a Premier League game since their 2-1 defeat by league leaders Liverpool FC at Stamford Bridge in September.

The Blues finished in third spot in the Premier League table last season.

The west London side will take on Ajax at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
