Wayne Rooney has revealed that he has been doing extra training with Adnan Januzaj to help the Manchester United youngster become “better and better”.
The 19-year-old has been one of the only positives from an otherwise miserable season for new manager David Moyes after the Scot replaced Sir Alex Ferguson last summer.

The Red Devils forward has scored three goals and made two assists in 21 top-flight appearances, whilst he penned a new long-term deal at Old Trafford in October.
And Rooney believes putting in extra hours with Januzaj is benefiting United’s highest-paid player, as well as their next big hope.
“I’ve stayed out after training with Adnan a few times. Even just working on free kicks and crossing. It actually benefits me as well and it benefits him,” Rooney told Inside United.
“I am trying to help him get better and better, which I feel he is doing, and I think young players need to practice all the time, especially coming into the side. Senior players also need to keep practicing to stay on top of their game so it works for both of us.”
