Arsene Wenger has called on his Arsenal side to ensure that they finish the season with no regrets and give “absolutely everything” in their fight for Champions League qualification.

The Gunners kept their place in the top four after Everton missed the chance to move back into fourth place following the surprise 3-2 loss to Crystal Palace at Goodison Park on Wednesday.

We want to come out thinking we have given absolutely everything

The midweek results left Wenger’s side one point ahead of the Toffees heading into the final four games of the season.

And the Frenchman has been quick to praise his side’s attitude after back-to-back wins against Wigan Athletic and West Ham United.

“What is satisfying is we can do as well as we can until the end of the season and that we behave like a top level team,” Wenger said.

“There will of course be ups and downs, but we want to finish thinking we have given as much as we can.

“After that, you leave the judgement to other people. We want to come out thinking we have given absolutely everything. The main thing is that we remain focused.”

Wenger’s Arsenal travel to Hull City in their next Premier League game on Easter Sunday.
