Michael Owen states his prediction for West Brom v Chelsea
The Liverpool legend is backing Chelsea to beat West Brom in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon

Michael Owen has ruled out Chelsea dropping any points at West Brom in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The defending champions were impressive 1-0 winners against title rivals Manchester United at Stamford Bridge after Alvaro Morata scored a 55th-minute winner in west London.
Chelsea are a point adrift of second-placed Manchester United but Antonio Conte’s men are still nine points behind current Premier League leaders Manchester City.
The title holders have won four of their five Premier League games this season with a 2-1 loss to strugglers Crystal Palace the only blemish on their record.
Chelsea are looking to win their third Premier League title in four seasons but Conte’s side face a tough challenge overhauling Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side.
Former Liverpool striker Owen is tipping Chelsea to beat West Brom at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.
“The Baggies have won just two of their last 20 Premier League games and I cannot see them getting anything against Chelsea who were good value for their 1-0 win against Manchester United before the international break,” Owen told BetVictor.
“Chelsea have won nine of their last 11 away league games and they need to keep picking up maximum points and hope that leaders Manchester City slip-up.”
Chelsea secured their second Premier League title in three seasons with a 1-0 victory over West Brom at the Hawthorns Stadium last weekend.
The defending champions beat the Baggies thanks to Michy Batshuayi’s late winner.
The Premier League title holders signed six players in the summer transfer window to bolster their squad ahead of a return to the Champions League after a one-season absence.
