West Ham United eye move to sign Arsenal star – report
West Ham United are keen on a move to bring Jack Wilshere in from Arsenal, say reports

West Ham United are keen on a move to sign Jack Wilshere from Arsenal this summer and have told the midfielder they are prepared to build their team around him, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Hammers are keen to try and bring the 26-year-old midfielder to the London Stadium this summer as they bid to strengthen their squad ahead of Manuel Pellegrini’s first season in charge at the club.
The same story says that former Manchester City boss Pellegrini is a known admirer of the Arsenal midfielder and the Hammers are trying to tie up a deal to bring him to the club this summer.
The article says that Pellegrini has made it clear that Wilshere would become one of the east London club’s most important players should he seal a move to the London Stadium.
The story also claims that Arsenal’s insistance that Wilshere should take a pay-cut to sign a new deal this summer has caused issues in contract negotiations.
The England midfielder is out of contract this summer and his future still remains up in the air after he missed out on a spot in the England World Cup squad for this summer.
