The fight that everyone has been waiting for is only four days away.

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Terence Crawford will finally face off in the ring for the undisputed super middleweight titles after months of build-up.

These two pound-for-pound stars are putting their legacies on the line in a contest that could mean a piece of history is made.

Crawford, who is jumping up two weight classes, is aiming to become the first male fighter in the four-belt era to take home a historic third division undisputed championship.

After stopping the undefeated American star Errol Spence Jr in 2023, ‘Bud’ now faces his toughest and biggest challenge in the form of the modern Mexican great.

Canelo won the undisputed 168 lb titles for a second time when he beat IBF champion William Scull in May, and he is determined to avoid a third loss in his 67-fight career.

There is the advantage of weight for Alvarez, who is the naturally bigger fighter, but based on recent fights, the pride of Guadalajara seems to be slowing down.

However, fans will find out in the ring who will cement their names in history between two of the sport’s current best.

Canelo Alvarez made a Turki Alalshikh jibe towards Terence Crawford

While the build-up has not been as fierce as others have seen in boxing over the past few years, it has still had its fair share of sharp statements from both men.

During one interaction on the G.O.A.T.S podcast featuring UFC president Dana White, the Mexican commented on Turki Alalshikh’s involvement as he delivered a brutal line to Crawford ahead of their clash.

Canelo said: “I hope your uncle Turki Alalshikh pays you enough money, because this will be the last time, that’s for sure.”

The boxing financier has staged this fight in conjunction with White’s new Zuffa Boxing brand under the TKO banner.

How this event goes will be significant for the new brand, making a statement as a boxing promotion to watch.
