Don Charles has been unhappy with how pundits have covered Daniel Dubois’ knockout loss to Oleksandr Usyk.
Wembley played host to the rematch, which ended in a devastating fifth-round knockout inflicted by the Ukrainian.
It was the third knockout loss in the career of Dubois, and it had boxing pundits talking.
While Usyk is getting his just praise for the win, focus has shifted to how ‘Dynamite’ rose to his feet after the fight was waved off.

Tony Bellew, following the fight, said the ‘real Daniel doesn’t want to fight’ and others like Carl Froch outright said the Brit quit.
In response, Charles slammed critics of his fighter walking across the canvas in an interview with The Ring.
He said: “Really? Well, that’s Mr Bellew’s opinion isn’t it? We don’t have to agree with it… I didn’t know the industry (before) how vicious and the amount of jealousy that is involved. And jealousy kills internally. It’s quite sad.
“The boxer who is achieving, he is young, he has got everything there is to have, they are looking for something to put you down to make themselves feel better.”
Bellew himself fell victim to a brutal eighth-round finish by the 38-year-old in their 2018 cruiserweight title fight.
But the harsh criticisms of pundits didn’t stop there from the esteemed trainer.
“The easiest job in the world is to become a critic, people who hate, people who are jealous, people who talk all this nonsense are all moronic imbeciles,” Charles fumed.
His final words on the subject rang true to the realities of the sport and how he was happy the fighter walked back with his health intact.
He said: “That young man was in this gym today, I prefer that than going to hospital to visit that young man so I would say behave yourself, watch what you are saying.”
Joseph Parker may have to face 20-year-old KO artist if Oleksandr Usyk vacates
As Usyk’s career comes to its final stage, a bout against mandatory Joseph Parker seems unlikely, with options like Tyson Fury on the table.
Instead, Parker could be upgraded to full world champion if the Ukrainian vacates, but would have to face the division’s next big thing, Moses Itauma.
Itauma is the WBO #1 so will need to get past the tough test of Dillian Whyte before entertaining a bout with the New Zealander.
Maybe the future of the heavyweight division could become the present sooner than expected if he puts on a sensational performance on August 16th.
