Dillian Whyte has reacted to the news of Daniel Dubois’ change in management following his Wembley loss.
Whyte has been warned to be ‘wary’ of his dangerous opponent, Moses Itauma, on August 16th in Saudi Arabia, in a crossroads fight for his career as a fighter in the heavyweight division.
The fight comes a month after Daniel Dubois and Oleksandr Usyk fought at Wembley Stadium, where the young British hopeful was demolished in five rounds by the undisputed champion.
Following his defeat, questions surrounding a ‘party’ and claims that he quit ramped up with Johnny Nelson calling Dubois’ father ‘reckless’ for allowing a gathering the day of a fight of such magnitude.

Now, he has decided to switch his management to Britain’s Sam Jones, who used to manage fellow heavyweight Joe Joyce and is a part of the team’s other contenders in the scene, including Manchester’s Jack Catterall.
This change has been questioned by people in the sport, including ‘The Body Snatcher’.
Whyte backed Daniel after ‘quit’ allegations from pundits and fans, asking them to get hit with the left hook of ‘The Cat’ and try to get back up.
However, speaking to IFL TV, he does find the change of management odd, considering one thing about the 27-year-old’s career.
He said: “I don’t know. What am I supposed to think about that? Is it a good move for Daniel? What is Sam Jones training people now? Well, Daniel never had a problem with management before.
“Management got him to the world title and got him into three, four of the biggest fights there are for him in this era.”
The 37-year-old is, of course, referring to his two battles with Usyk and his knockout win over Anthony Joshua, which were plotted by Queensberry Promotions and his team.
But he did explain he had no problems with the link-up between the pair, while it is not the issue that Daniel should focus on.
“I think he needs to focus on his training and his mindset more than management. I ain’t got no comment on it. Sam Jones is cool, and Daniel’s cool,” he said.
“But it’s kind of strange that he’s working on that instead of the other aspect of things.”

It is not the only change that has been made to the DDD’s team; his former ‘ferocious’ secret weapon, coach Kieran Farrell, has decided to part ways with the fighter after 18 months.
He helped ‘Dynamite’ win the IBF heavyweight title and achieve the best victories of his career, but left suddenly following his last defeat.
In a statement posted to Instagram, the former coach wrote: “I have made the decision to part ways with Team Dubois.
“In the 18 months with DDD, we’ve achieved so much, including an unforgettable night at Wembley. Helping DDD become world champion has been truly rewarding on a number of levels.
“I wish Daniel all the best going forward.”
It is unclear what other changes will be made to the team behind the fighter, with Dubois unlikely to change his head coach, Don Charles, who has supported the young star on multiple occasions.
Although it is now an interesting point in his career, with still enough time before he hits his prime, the loss at the top level against the undefeated great should not knock his confidence.
