Darren Till did not hold back on boxing’s current landscape after being asked about reports of a Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua clash.
The former UFC star is known for his no-nonsense attitude when it comes to being on the mic.
It is no different when it comes to the ‘Problem Child’ and Joshua, apparently set up for a 2026 bout.

All the talk follows the influencer, Paul, revealing a scary message from AJ as the two went back and forth on a potential bout.
Darren Till slams Turki Alalshikh and believes Jake Paul has nothing to lose against Anthony Joshua
Now with Turki Alalshikh getting involved in setting up the event, Till has gone in on boxing’s financier being hypocritical.
Speaking with Pro Boxing Fans, he said: “Is Turki going back on his moral code as well? He only wants proper traditional boxing, and now he wants that. Is this what it is in boxing, everyone has got a moral code until they haven’t.
“Get the f- – k out of here mate.”
These comments follow Alalshikh’s ethos of only wanting ‘the best fighting, the best’ in the ring, but the apparent fight seems at odds with this.
The ‘Gorilla’ was asked if he believed Paul was in with a chance of competing in the squared circle against the unified heavyweight champion.
“He might end up lasting mate, Joshua is not the strongest mentally, it’s a lot of pressure to fight Jake Paul. Jake Paul doesn’t give a f- – k, what’s he got to lose?” Till said.
“He’s got everybody eating out of the palm of his hand.”
Darren Till clashes with former UFC champion Luke Rockhold in Misfits bout
The former MMA fighter has turned over to boxing in the Misfits’ promotional outfit, as he has been very upfront about joining the ‘circus’.
Already the scouse southpaw has found it fruitful with two wins against Anthony Taylor and Darren Stewart.
But now an altogether different test in the former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold, who suffered a TKO defeat to Mike Perry in his bareknuckle debut two years ago.
A feisty press conference between the pair ended in a scuffle in which Rockhold was pulled away.
At 40 years old, competing in his professional boxing debut, no one is entirely sure what to expect, but that is the strange allure of Misfits’ boxing.
