Jake Paul is an ambitious personality and wants to challenge himself at the elite level.

Paul has disrupted the world of boxing over the last five years and is gaining more and more respect with each fight he takes.

The YouTuber-turned-professional boxer has faced the likes of Mike Tyson and UFC star Anderson Silva, with his only defeat coming against Tommy Fury.

Aside from that, it’s been pretty comfortable for the 28-year-old, but he still has plenty to achieve.

Back in 2023, ‘The Problem Child’ named the fights he would like before he hangs up the gloves for good.

Jake Paul wants to fight Nate Diaz in MMA before he retires

Like any other boxer, Paul has names on his list that he would like to take on.

Nothing seems to faze the American at all and as well as wanting to face Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Conor McGregor, he has his eyes set on swapping the ring for the octagon to take on Nate Diaz.

He told Overtime Boxing: “Fighting Canelo, fighting McGregor, he’s a smart businessman, I think he would do it.

“And, Nate Diaz in MMA.”

Many believe that Canelo would be too much for Paul and McGregor’s lack of action in the sport implies that Paul was wishfully thinking.

Diaz is certainly a possibility but to take him on in his main sport instead of another boxing match could spell bad news.

How did Jake Paul fare against Nate Diaz last time?

If the pair were to fight in the octagon, it would be the first time the two had met since their contest in August 2023.

Diaz was making his competitive boxing debut at cruiserweight level. It was initially scheduled to be an eight-round fight, but was soon bumped up to 10 after calls to do so on social media.

In the end, it was Paul who would claim victory via unanimous decision against the then-38-year-old as he recovered from defeat to Fury and rebuild his way back up the boxing ladder.
